1 tsp wasabi paste
1/3 cup vodka
1 1/2 cups chilled Clamato juice
4 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/4 tsp Tabasco sauce, optional
2 stalks leafy celery
Place wasabi in a small bowl. Pour in vodka. Stir until blended. Pour into a large pitcher. Stir in Clamato, lemon juice, Worcestershire and pepper. Stir in Tabasco. Fill 2 tall glasses with ice cubes. Pour in Caesar mixture and add leafy celery stalks for stirring.

Wasabi, or Japanese horseradish, has a sharp pungent flavour. It's sold as a paste or powder in the Asian section of grocery stores. To use the powder, mix it with enough water to form a paste. Watch out--a little goes a long way!
