Bison-cherry burger

Ingredients
- 500 g ground bison or extra-lean ground beef
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1/3 cup chopped dried cherries
- 1/4 cup minced red onion
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp grainy mustard
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- PREHEAT barbecue to medium.
- STIR meat with parsley, cherries, onion, Worcestershire, mustard and salt in a medium bowl. Mix gently with your hands or a fork. (Over-mixing can toughen burgers.) Shape into 4 1/2-in.-thick patties. Make a shallow depression in centre of each to help keep their shape while cooking.
- OIL grill. Barbecue burgers, with lid closed, until cooked through, 4 to 5 min per side.
