Last night's first presidential debate was as tense a battle as you'll see between two people trying to prove, in real time before millions of people, that they can be trusted to run the United States of America. Donald Trump, predictably, brought his signature bombast, interrupting Hillary Clinton 51 times during the 90 minute debate. Clinton, meanwhile, had some tough moments, admitting her infamous private email server was a "mistake," but on the whole, her performance offered a master class in rising above even the most ridiculous of opponents. Here, five moves you can steal when faced with your own adversaries.
1. Just give ’em a smile.
2. If someone questions your stamina, a shoulder shimmy will shake off the sexism-slash-ageism.
3. Hit them where it hurts.
4. Deliver the cold, hard truth.
5. And while you're throwing truth bombs, add an understated brag.
