Of the photo of Justin at top-centre, Margaret wrote, "The fishing pole was supposed to be only a prop for this picture of Justin. It was an old wooden stick pole, with a string line and a bare hook, which we found tucked away in the woods near a spot where we had been picnicking. Justin dropped it into the water unbaited for his "first fishing picture," and within five minutes had caught a trout — much to his surprise and alarm. Too small to keep, the fish was returned to the lake alive."
