Art lovers

Many a romance starts in Paris. Only for newlywed lawyers Blair Trudell and Allison Harnick, their Parisian honeymoon set in motion a fresh love affair neither of them expected. It all began with a print they bought when they stumbled upon a photography gallery on the Left Bank called YellowKorner, which offers prints by great photographers (Man Ray, Slim Aarons) at affordable prices by printing them in higher-than-usual numbers. Little did they know that simple transaction would kick-start a yearly tradition and a new career for Blair. Now, after opening YellowKorner locations in both Toronto and Montreal, his mission is to make beautiful photography available, accessible and affordable to all. As for that yearly tradition, he and Allison still celebrate their anniversary with a new work of art for their family home, which has recently expanded to welcome a son: Living proof that love grows with time.

Hang a showstopper in your entryway

Make the first thing you see when you open the door impressive and memorable. Here a poignant photograph by artist Yang Bin mirrors the console table below and anchors the hallway.

Elevate a found object

There are no rules when it comes to hanging art in groups. In this salon-style collection, a vintage neon sign works perfectly with photographs in a variety of frames.
