Sweeter Dreams - Chatelaine Bedding

A Canadian palette

We’re proud to launch the Chatelaine Home Collection with our partners at The Shopping Channel. Our first offering is a four-piece Italian sheet set made of super-soft pima cotton, matching duvet covers and pillowcases, and coordinated throws and cushions. The bedding is offered in four colours: dusk, sand dollar, slate and stone.

This photo features the Chatelaine duvet cover and pillowcases in Dusk Stripe, a solid sheet set in Slate, a throw in Dusk and a cushion in Slate Stripe.

“We've created a quintessentially Canadian palette,” says Emma Reddington, our home director.

Winter twilight

“There’s something about a winter night sky that is almost more beautiful than a showy summer sunset,” says Emma Reddington of her inspiration for the palette. For our duvet cover, we chose classic stripes in different widths. “It’s a timeless look that will work well in any interior,” she says.

The basics

Our four-piece sheet sets come in four colours that coordinate with the stripes on the duvet covers. Pictured from the top are the Chatelaine sheets in Dusk, Sand Dollar, Slate and Stone.

Quality and comfort

Chatelaine bedding is made from pima cotton, which is an “extra long staple” cotton. The longer the cotton fibre, the more durable the linens. Similar to Egyptian cotton, pima fibres produce a smooth, densely woven, sumptuous fabric. Once it’s treated with the Cogal’s extensive finishing process, the result is a super-luxe product — getting out of bed just got harder!

Made in Italy

Italian linens are known to be the finest in the world. For this collection, we chose to partner with Cogal in Leffe, Italy, a family business that has been producing textiles for more than 60 years. There, linens undergo a three-step hand-finishing process, which gives them their unique, ultra-soft feel. The weaving of fibres is pictured here, at the Cogal Mill.
