The best summer parties are spontaneous and casual, but that doesn’t mean they lack one-of-a-kind details. Vintage postcards — or ones from travels past — make pretty place settings and establish a theme for your entire get-together. Simply stick a piece of Japanese washi tape on the corner (it won’t ruin your keepsake and it’s reusable) and write your guest’s name on it. Voila! You’ve added instant style to your backyard barbecue and created a great conversation starter too.
