An unbelievably simple — and stunning — trick to find space you didn’t even know you had.

Now that chalkboard paint comes in a range of shades, it’s easier than ever for the whole family to see the writing on the wall. To create this combo calendar and to-do-list wall, simply measure and tape off a large block in one area and paint it a bright colour. Then use a contrasting shade of chalkboard paint for the rest of the wall.

Paint, $30/gallon, Benjaminmoore.ca.
