Michaels is bringing the goods this April with a new limited-edition collection of housewares, ceramics, crafts, games and more from interior designer Jonathan Adler.
While there are hundreds of items to peruse, the highlight of the collection has to be the housewares and table décor—especially the ceramics, which should be no surprise given Adler’s background as a potter. In addition to making eclectic Pop Art and Art Deco-inspired designs more budget-friendly, Adler’s collection for the arts-and-crafts retailer delivers on dreamy summer shades of Mediterranean greens and blues.
The new collection isn’t available for purchase until April 17, but you can preview it online now. Here are five of our favourites from the Adler limited release.

You can never have enough throw pillows and thank goodness for that—this Art Deco-inspired bug pillow, with its delicate beadwork and bold striping detail, is a must-buy. It’s a standout in the collection, and that’s saying a lot because Adler’s throw pillow game is tight.

I’m a sucker for ceramics and Adler, who started out in stoneware, reveals a practiced hand with this glossy jade offering with its neat white labyrinth border. The colour and pattern evoke Mediterranean seascapes, and I feel certain this plate will up my outdoor dining game as a result.

This decorative, Pop Art-inspired vase makes a strong visual statement. Whether it’s on an entry table, dining table, tucked into a bookcase or cabinet, it’s a no-brainer purchase if you’re looking to add some dazzle to your space. (And if you need some incredibly realistic looking artificial blooms, we have just the ticket.)

I can’t resist anything in this dreamy shade of indigo blue, and this textured accent table is no exception. It makes for a sleek and textured sofa-side table and smart display for one or two cherished items—like my morning coffee.

I’ve been looking for something to put the remote control in at night —other than its usual spot tucked between the sofa cushions. This graphic black-and-white patterned box is the perfect hiding spot for errant electronics and any other bits and bobs that clutter up the coffee table.
