If you have kids, you've probably witnessed how easy it is for them to take the simplest of items, like a cardboard box, and turn it into hours of fun. I recently spotted this cute craft that draws from that idea.

Edmonton-based wedding and lifestyle photographer Andrea Hanki created this charming little village of cardboard houses using the instructions and template found in the blog, Ambrosia Girl. This easy project can be completed in minutes using just cardboard boxes and tape. (Andrea bought her coloured tape at Michael's and the white tape at Dollarama.)

It's a cheap and easy way to create a fantastic play space for your kids, which will no doubt become one of their favourite spots to spend time in!
