What goes around comes around. Much like fashion, trends in home decor cycle through different styles and influences. Macramé, a technique that uses different knots to create patterns, last had its heydey in the psychedelic ’70s. Crafters have revived the technique, bringing elaborate textile creations into today’s homes. Check out our step-by-step videos to watch craft stylist Stephanie Hung demonstrate all the different knots she used to make this piece. Channel the past with a neutral and earthy palette, or make it more modern with hits of electric colour.
