A family tree art project in three easy steps

This fun family tree is the perfect kid-friendly art project

1. Draw a simple tree on a piece of watercolour paper or print out our template. Don’t worry about making the branches perfect; the fun is in the leaves!

2. Use an alphabet stamp and black ink pad to stamp your last name beneath the roots of the tree.

3. Make fingerprint ‘leaves’ using a colourful ink pad palette. Invite family members to press their fingers in the different inks and stamp their unique leaves onto your tree, then mount it in a basic matted frame.
