Could this man be Canada's hottest Santa?

A Toronto mall hired a model to play St. Nick this year. Meet Fashion Santa.
Model Paul Mason is Yorkdale's fashion santa. Photo, Yorkdale.

If St. Nick had to get himself ready for a GQ shoot, he'd look like Paul Mason. "Fashion Santa" is svelte, has a killer smile and boasts cheekbones that instantly give him away as a model. He still wears plaid and velvet coats like regular Santa, but his are sleek cuts by Ferragamo and John Varvatos.

Fashion Santa is the savvy creation of Yorkdale Shopping Centre in Toronto, which hired Mason as a mall Santa for grown-ups. The stint is making waves across Canada and the U.S. — getting noticed by the Today ShowTime and, yes, even GQ. And it's all for a good cause. For every selfie taken with the hashtag #YorkdaleFashionSanta, the mall will donate $1 to Toronto's SickKids hospital. So if you're in the city, there's an altruistic reason to pay him a visit. If you're not, here's what you're missing.
