Whip up a morning-after banana milkshake. Susan Traxel of Toronto swears by this remedy, and she's on to something. "Potassium helps replace lost electrolytes," says registered dietitian Diana Steele of Vancouver. Steele also recommends eating healthy carbs while drinking (think whole wheat toast, not a plate of poutine) to help absorb alcohol.
