Her Happy Moment: In the change room moments before she walked down the aisle on her wedding day.

Why it’s so memorable: It was my wedding day and I was getting ready in the change room at the wedding hall with my mother, my bridesmaids and the photographer. Growing up, my mom, sister and I didn’t spend a lot of “girl time” as just the three of us. But that day, being in that small change room, we were sipping on champagne and nervously giggling like school girls. And that’s when it really hit home that I was with my family and what was about to happen that day-- I was going to marry the man I love.

Thankfully that special moment was captured by our photographer and the beautiful picture she took hangs in the office of our home. In the picture, my mom is helping me put on a pearl necklace that was my grandmother’s while my sister is sipping champagne in the corner watching my mother and I. All the while, I was trying not to collapse with nerves! But when I look at that picture, I see how happy we all look together and remember us giggling. Every day when I walk into that room it makes me smile and reminds me of that special moment.
