September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness month. We all need to create more awareness and to educate the women in our lives about the symptoms of ovarian cancer. Spread the word - if you have persistent bloating, frequent urination, gas, changes in bowel movements and painful intercourse for more than two weeks, ask your doctor to check for ovarian cancer.

A simple blood test and a trans-vaginal ultrasound are the tools we have at our disposal right now. Hopefully we'll have a tool for early detection soon.

Check out Ovcapeers.com to help support ovarian cancer or attend an event.
