Here's an easy way to help your memory: just chew a piece of gum. Researchers from St. Lawrence University in New York found chewing gum gives you a 15- to 20-minute window in which memory and information-processing speed improve — basically making you smarter.

Bottom line:
Pop in a stick before your next presentation at work — just remember to spit it out before you hit the boardroom!
