Ivy Knight cooked professionally for ten years before becoming a writer. She has written for The Globe and Mail, the Toronto Star and is a regular contributor at VICE. She has interviewed countless top chefs and food personalities, among them Jacques Pepin, Gabrielle Hamilton, Gail Simmons, Anthony Bourdain and René Redzepi. She has published three books and is currently at work on her fourth. She hosts the city's largest and longest running industry night, 86'd Mondays at the Drake Hotel, and a speaker series called Black Coffee + Pie that will be soon be launching as a podcast.
