    How do I subscribe, renew or give a gift?

    To subscribe or give a gift, placing your order online is quick and easy. Go to my.chatelaine.com.

    To renew your subscription, simply visit chatelaine.com/renew.

    When will my first Chatelaine issue arrive after subscribing?

    It typically takes 4 to 6 weeks for the first issue to arrive after your subscription has been activated.

    When does my subscription expire?

    To view your subscription expiration date, simply sign in to our online customer care at my.chatelaine.com.

    Also, your subscription expiry date is indicated on the top right-hand corner of the magazine’s mailing labels.

    Is digital access included with my print subscription?

    Yes, digital access is a complimentary add-on to your print subscription. If we have your email on file, you will receive an email notification from “delivery@mail.emagazines.com” when the next issue is available for viewing.

    Managing Your Subscription

    How can I update my mailing address?

    You can update your mailing address online anytime at my.chatelaine.com.

    How do I renew my subscription?

    To renew your subscription, simply visit chatelaine.com/renew.

    Can I renew someone else's subscription?

    Yes, you can renew someone else's subscription. Visit chatelaine.com/renewgift and follow the prompts for gift renewals.

    How do I update my credit card or billing information?

    Visit my.chatelaine.com, and under “Autorenew info,” select “EDIT BILLING INFO” to update your billing information for automatic renewal subscriptions and use a new credit card if you choose to renew early.

    How do I update my contact information (email, phone number)?

    You can update your contact information online anytime at my.chatelaine.com.

    Delivery Issues

    I haven't received my Chatelaine magazine. What should I do?

    If you're a new subscriber, please note that the first issue takes 4-6 weeks to arrive. If that period has passed, please confirm your mailing address at my.chatelaine.com and check the “Publication Schedule” for the estimated in-home date. If you’re still having issues, please email service@chatelaine.com.

    You can view the publication schedule and expected in-home date by logging into my.chatelaine.com and scrolling to the bottom of the page under “Publication Schedule.”

    I updated my mailing address, but I'm still not receiving my magazine.

    Please contact customer service at service@chatelaine.com to verify your address update was processed correctly. We can confirm your current address on file and investigate any delivery issues.

    Why am I receiving duplicate copies of the magazine?

    You may have multiple active accounts under different names or addresses. We can merge these accounts to extend the duration of your subscription and stop duplicate deliveries. Simply email us at service@chatelaine.com and provide us with your full name and address as it appears on the labels.

    Why is my subscription suspended?

    Please go to my.chatelaine.com to verify your mailing address. If an issue is returned as undeliverable, your subscription may be suspended. To resume delivery, please contact our customer service team at service@chatelaine.com.

    Digital Access

    How do I access the digital edition of Chatelaine?

    You can access the digital version of your magazine via our online library at chatelaine.com/digital. Log in with your email address (the same email address associated with your subscription account) for immediate access. Once your email has been verified, you will receive an email granting you access to the library.

    Who can I contact if I experience issues with digital access?

    To access your digital issues, you can visit chatelaine.com/digital and log in with the email address on your account (you can double-check this at my.chatelaine.com). If you have issues accessing, please contact service@chatelaine.com.

    Can I subscribe only to the digital edition?

    Yes, you can choose a digital-only subscription. To switch your subscription type, please contact our customer service at service@chatelaine.com.

    Account Management

    I seem to have multiple account numbers or subscriptions. Can they be merged?

    Yes. If you have multiple subscriptions or account numbers, please contact us at service@chatelaine.com and provide us with the account numbers. We will merge the subscriptions and extend your service accordingly.

    Your account number is indicated in the magazine’s mailing labels above your name.

    Why does my online account show an "Inactive" status despite having an active subscription?

    Please contact customer service at service@chatelaine.com to investigate this discrepancy. There might be a delay in system updates or an issue with your account status.

    My subscription was intended as a gift, but the delivery address is wrong. Can I change it?

    Yes, you can update the delivery address for gift subscriptions. Please go to my.chatelaine.com to update gift addresses.

    Cancellations and Auto-Renewal

    How do I cancel my subscription?

    To cancel your subscription, please contact service@chatelaine.com and provide your full name and address. We will stop delivery on any unmailed issues. Please note that refunds are not issued for unmailed issues.

    How do I disable auto-renewal for my subscription?

    You can cancel your auto-renewal by logging into my.chatelaine.com, going to “Manage Your Autorenew,” and pressing “CANCEL AUTORENEW”. Once auto-renewal is turned off, your subscription will remain active until its expiration date.

    I was charged for renewal but I had requested to cancel. What should I do?

    We apologize for the inconvenience. If you requested to opt out of auto-renewal and were charged after, please contact us at service@chatelaine.com. We will review your account, reverse the charge, and confirm your cancelled subscription.

    Will my subscription be canceled immediately if I disable auto-renewal?

    No. Although auto-renewal will be disabled, your subscription remains active until its expiration date.

    Does my gift subscription auto-renew?

    It varies on the offer, to confirm if your offer was set up on auto-renew please contact us at service@chatelaine.com.

    Email and Communication Preferences

    How do I completely remove my account from your mailing lists?

    You can unsubscribe from all our mailing lists by emailing service@chatelaine.com and providing your full name and address so we can process your removal promptly.

    Special Circumstances

    Can I cancel a subscription for a deceased relative?

    Yes, you can cancel the subscription or transfer the remaining issues. Please note that refunds are typically not issued in these circumstances. Simply email us at service@chatelaine.com with your full name and address.

    What happens to remaining issues if I cancel my subscription?

    You can transfer the remaining issues to a new recipient. Refunds are generally not issued for cancelled subscriptions.

    Can I request back issues if some were not delivered?

    Please contact us at service@chatelaine.com so we can look into the issue and assist with missing back issues.

    I'd like to continue my subscription as an electronic edition only. How do I proceed?

    To switch to an electronic edition only, please contact our customer service at service@chatelaine.com.

    Does my renewal include Fashion magazine?

    Please contact service@chatelaine.com to confirm the details of your renewal offer and whether it includes Fashion magazine.
