Ingredients

  • olive oil

  • 2 frozen beef sirloin burgers

  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce

  • 1 large tomato, chopped

  • 1/4 cup pitted black olives, cut in half

  • 1/4 tsp dried Italian seasoning

  • 1/4 cup grated mozzarella

  • chopped fresh basil, optional

Instructions

  • Lightly coat a large, non-stick frying pan with oil and set over medium-high heat. When hot, add burgers. Cook until browned, 2 to 3 minutes per side. Reduce heat to medium-low. Pour pasta sauce into pan. Stir in tomato and olives. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Scatter mozzarella over burgers. Cover and simmer, without stirring, until burgers are cooked through and cheese melts, 4 to 5 minutes. Sprinkle with basil.
