2 heads butter, Boston or bibb lettuce, torn
1 head radicchio, torn into pieces
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
2 tbsp red-wine vinegar
1 small garlic clove, minced
1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
2 tbsp chopped capers
Combine lettuce and radicchio in a large bowl. Set aside.
Whisk oil with vinegar, garlic, Dijon and capers in a medium bowl. Season with pepper.
Pour vinaigrette over lettuce and toss until well coated.
