Homemade pizza is surprisingly easy—and much cheaper than delivery. Whip up a batch of this couldn't-be-simpler sauce and stash the extra in individual jars in your freezer so you're always ready for pizza time.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 796-mL can San Marzano tomatoes, drained

  • 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

  • 1/2 small garlic clove, minced

  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Purée tomatoes, oil, garlic and salt in a food processor or blender until just smooth. Use to top pizza of your choice.

Kitchen tip: This recipe doubles easily and freezes well if you'd like to use up the entire can of tomatoes.
