Sparkling Whisky Cocktail

A vibrant, light orange sparkling whisky cocktail is served in a tall-stemmed coupe glass, garnished with a sprig of fresh mint. The glass sits on a white surface next to a jigger and several whole and halved limes, with loose mint leaves scattered around. The background is a soft, pale green, and the scene is lit by bright sunlight casting crisp shadows, creating a fresh, summery atmosphere.

We took inspiration from a mint julep for this sparkling cocktail that works at any time of the year.

Ingredients

  • 4 leaves of fresh mint

  • 2 tbsp whisky

  • 1 tsp granulated sugar

  • sparkling wine

Instructions

  • In a bowl, crush mint leaves in whisky. Stir in sugar. Pour into a champagne flute and top up with sparkling wine made by the méthode champenoise. Do not use Prosecco; it won't be bubbly enough.
