24 large mint leaves, plus extra for garnish
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 cups bourbon
ice cubes
Combine mint leaves with sugar in a pitcher. Using a wooden spoon, mash leaves with sugar against side of pitcher to release flavour. Add bourbon and stir until sugar dissolves completely. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Strain bourbon mixture, then pour into glasses filled with ice. Garnish with mint.
