In this age of eco-friendly options, air drying makes a lot of sense and it's easier on your clothes. An inexpensive fold-away rack is not the loveliest sight to behold, so tuck away after use.
A table for folding laundry is a nice perk, pick one up at a garage sale and cover it in canvas from an art supply store (laundry baskets and cleaning products can be stored underneath) for a fresh look. Get a fold-down table or install a counter if space is cramped.
