Here’s another reason to pick salad: A Japanese study found a link between high cholesterol and Alzheimer’s. Researchers tested the cholesterol of 147 people and later examined their autopsies and found 86 percent of those with high cholesterol had the plaque that’s associated with Alzheimer’s in their brains, compared with 62 percent of people with low cholesterol.
