The basic formula for natural dyes

To make, simply boil one part dye ingredients to six parts water, strain, then place hard-boiled eggs into the liquid. Add two-three tsps of white vinegar per cup of liquid (the acid will help the dyes stick to the egg). Then let soak until desired colour is achieved (anywhere from one hour to one day).
