Swiss chard

Healthy roasted veggies

Toss 3 cups chopped stems and 1 cup button mushrooms with 1 tbsp oil and 1/4 tsp each salt and pepper. Roast at 375F for 30 min. Toss with 1 tsp lemon zest and 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar before serving.

Easy braised greens

Cut 1 bunch stems into 4-in. pieces. Add to a large frying pan with 1 cup vegetable broth, 3 tbsp red-wine vinegar, 2 tbsp oil and 1 tsp brown sugar. Set over medium. Cover and simmer until tender, 15 to 20 min.
