2 Italian sausages
2 onions, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 jalapeno, seeded and finely chopped
1 red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
1 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
170-g box seasoned croutons, about 4 cups
Remove sausages from casings and crumble meat. Combine with onions, garlic and peppers in a large frying pan set over medium heat.
Sprinkle with seasonings and sauté until sausage is cooked, about 10 minutes. Toss in a large bowl with croutons. Use as a stuffing right away or cover and refrigerate up to 2 days.
