Roberto Caruso

Chatelaine Triple Tested

Ingredients

  • 500 g lean ground beef

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp allspice

  • 1/2 tsp cumin

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley

  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt

  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

  • 8 mini burger buns

  • Boston lettuce

  • 2 plum tomatoes, thinly sliced

Instructions

  • Combine beef with garlic, salt, spices and parsley in a medium bowl. Do not over-mix or sliders will be tough. Divide mixture into 8 portions. Form each into a mini burger.

  • Heat a medium non-stick frying pan over medium. Add burgers. Cook for 4 min, then flip and continue cooking, covered, until burgers are cooked through, about 4 more min.

  • Stir yogurt with cayenne. Spread on both sides of each bun. Line bottom halves with lettuce. Top with sliders, then tomato slices. Serve immediately.
