When unexpected guests drop by (and, trust us, they will), here's a quick and delicious snack you can serve along with a nice bottle of wine. All you need is a log of plain soft goat cheese. Plus it's a great way to use up fresh herbs.
2 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
Finely chopped fresh herbs
1/4 tsp hot-red-chili-flakes
1 tbsp lemon zest
freshly cracked black pepper
crackers, for serving
Drizzle goat cheese with extra-virgin olive oil, then sprinkle with fresh herbs, chili flakes, lemon zest and freshly cracked black pepper. Serve with crackers, for a fresh take on the seasonal cheese ball.
