Switch up classic vanilla frozen yogurt by adding a swirl of sweet and tangy homemade blueberry sauce.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cold 10% plain yogurt, preferably Méditerranée

  • 1/2 cup honey

  • 2 tsp vanilla

FOR BLUEBERRY-SWIRL

  • 1 cup blueberries

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  • WHISK yogurt with honey and vanilla in a large bowl until smooth.

  • SCRAPE mixture into a pre-frozen ice-cream-maker bowl and churn according to manufacturer's instructions, 30 to 45 min. Transfer to a covered container and freeze up to a month.

  • To make Blueberry-swirl frozen yogurt, combine 1 cup blueberries with 1/4 cup honey and 2 tbsp lemon juice in a small saucepan set over high. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and gently boil, stirring occasionally, until syrupy, 8 to 10 min. Transfer to a metal bowl and chill in freezer until cold, about 1 hour. Scrape alternate layers of churned Vanilla Frozen Yogurt and cold blueberry syrup into containers before freezing.

Tip: To serve, let stand at room temperature until slightly softened, 10 min.
