This shockingly quick recipe marries dessert with the usual after-dinner coffee. Take it up a notch by adding a shot of nut-flavoured liqueur.
Place a scoop of vanilla ice cream in each glass, then crumble in an amaretti cookie or two, followed by a scoop of coffee ice cream. Pour about 3 tbsp (45 mL) or one shot of warm espresso over each sundae. Serve with more amaretti cookies and chocolate shavings for garnish, if you like.
