1 1/2 tsp Cinzano dry vermouth
1/4 cup Sapphire Bombay gin
1 olive
Chill a martini glass in the freezer. Following martini connoisseur Luis Buñuel's recipe from his 1972 movie The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie, you coat the cubes by pouring vermouth into a shaker of ice, then pouring it out and discarding vermouth. Then add gin to the shaker of ice. Stir gently, strain and pour into chilled glass. Add olive (no toothpick).
Stirred not shaken...or shaken not stirred.
