The news: Be still our music and surprise–loving hearts! Drake, rap's resident sensitive soul, dropped a 17-track mixtape two days before Valentine's Day. In a sonic sneak-attack reminiscent of Beyoncé's Earth-shifting 2013 release, the Toronto superstar posted a link to the new album—broodily titled If You're Reading This, It's Too Late—on Twitter just before midnight on Thursday, and mere hours after the release of "Jungle," a 15-minute short film. Reading marks the follow-up to 2013's Nothing Was The Same, and is available now on iTunes. Don't forget your kitschy sweaters and Degrassi paraphernalia for any upcoming listening parties!

The dish: A flavourful spice mix to impart this weekend's romantic fare with a dash of soul. Take care if you decide to add chilies. Get the recipe here.
